I was given this ring by my husband's gran. It isn't valuable but it means a lot to me. I wanted to make a special place to keep it safe and to remember her by.
She had a lilac tree in her garden and if we visited when it was in bloom, she would always cut us some to take home with us.

Beautiful work for a special keepsake.
What a lovely idea, and so beautiful.
Love your work, this idea is lovely!
Such a lovely way to keep the ring safe - and as a beautiful memento.
Lovely stitching and such a good way to keep memories and mementos safe. Your stitching is always so exquisite
Such a beautiful piece of art. I wish I was still in the UK so I could learn from you. Maybe one day you could come to Ontario, Canada and teach ~ that would be amazing!
I also wondered, do you sell any of your pieces?

Just wonderful.....
How beautiful! And what a lovely way to store and honor this special keepsake! My maternal grandmother had a hedge of lilacs that I remember playing in as a child. They are one of my favorite spring time flowers.
I host a weekly Stitchery Link Party for all things hand embroidered and I would love to have you come link up this post so that my readers can come see it too. http://www.supermomnocape.com/2015/06/22/vintage-embroidery-monday-stitchery-link-party-11/
A truly unique idea for a keepsake! Lovely!
Stunningly beautiful. I think she would be proud to be remembered in such a lovely way.
