I was given this ring by my husband's gran. It isn't valuable but it means a lot to me. I wanted to make a special place to keep it safe and to remember her by.
She had a lilac tree in her garden and if we visited when it was in bloom, she would always cut us some to take home with us.
Wow Christine, i adore this, so special xx

ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful piece of art. I wish I was still in the UK so I could learn from you. Maybe one day you could come to Ontario, Canada and teach ~ that would be amazing!
ReplyDeleteI also wondered, do you sell any of your pieces?

Just wonderful.....
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! And what a lovely way to store and honor this special keepsake! My maternal grandmother had a hedge of lilacs that I remember playing in as a child. They are one of my favorite spring time flowers.
