I had this little ring box for a while and knew I wanted to do something with it. It is worn and soft and has a lovely patina from years of being handled. My yoga teacher tells us to 'let go' at the physical and psychological level. We hold on to so much that isn't helpful to us. It's hard for me to remember to do this outside of my yoga class though, so this is my little reminder.....
Exquisite! A great reminder. Love the box, too.
ReplyDeleteYum-diddli-umptious!
ReplyDeleteVery precious - I love it. Is it for sale? If yes, please let me know.
ReplyDeleteI save little boxes, too, and place little treasures inside - I used to call them "Look Insides." I like this idea of placing thoughts and words inside.
:-)
The box is absolutely lovely

I have just found this little beauty on pinterest and wanted to find out more about it. I cannot describe the thoughts it invokes but everyone should see this and own one for when we need an extra something in our lives. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteYour work is exquisite.

I came from The Green Chair Press Blog, where a link to yours was posted.
ReplyDeleteYour box and the work you have done is beautiful, very beautiful, it is certainly something one would like to treasure. But isn't the message within the box a contradiction to the desire to keep it? Both your posts and the comments left me thinking of the way we humans fight our own nature.
