A gentle workshop






If you'd like to make something like this come along to a Gentlework workshop at the wonderful Rustic and White shop in Shrewsbury, Shropshire.

The Comfort of Stitches

Sewing words of wisdom to wear or display

A one day workshop where you will hand stitch a brooch or small artwork using vintage textile treasures and add words to give meaning, to comfort or inspire.

Love the soft colours Christine... a reflection of the snowdrifts just outside my door.
Alas it is just a wee bit far to attend the class but I'm sure it will be fabulous.

So very beautiful - it is not a technique I know but very interesting …. what skills do you need to know before attending a course?

Hello, Dee - you just need basic hand sewing skills to do the workshop, if you can manage a running stitch you'll be fine. Best wishes, Christine
