How it all began..

Hello there, you can read a post here about how the Shirt Collar Project began and a little bit about how I approached the making of my collar. There are posts on each of the artists involved explaining a bit about their creative process, it makes interesting reading....

Scenes from an exhibition....

Here's a little peek at Saturday's opening of the Group Gathering Shirt Collar Project exhibition. It was wonderful to see everyone's collars together and view some of  their other work. Thanks to the lovely Kathleen of Murgatroyd and Bean who conceived of and organised this wonderful project, it was a pleasure to be involved. Kathleen will be profiling each of the artists and their completed collars and revealing a little about how they approached the project over at the Group Gathering Blog so pop over there for a look, it makes interesting reading.

Stitching a meadow...

Thought I'd give you another little peek at something  I'm working on. This is another piece to be exhibited (and it will also be for sale) along with the collars at the Shell House Gallery from 28th June. It isn't finished yet and you won't be able to see as much of this stitching as you can see here as there will be something in front of it....now you are curious aren't you? More pictures soon when it's finished.....
