Hello, sorry I haven't posted for a while - I've been busy making for the next two fairs I'll be attending in November - the Crafty Vintage Market in Bishops Castle, Shropshire on the 2nd November and the Selvedge Fair on 29th and 30th of November in London, you can click on the images on my sidebar for more details. new brooches, wear a little gentlework

I've been enjoying stitching these little brooches lately. When I'm making, I never throw any scrap of fabric or lace away, however small and I have boxes and tins of little bits and pieces all around my workroom. Is that something you do too? It's lovely to re-use these bits and bobs, adding a few precious buttons and highlighting with tiny beads, to turn them into something new. I like to add a few words, (typed on my vintage green typewriter!) for comfort or inspiration....

Just thought I'd show you a couple of new needlebooks I made for the Cotswolds Vintage Fair I had a stall a yesterday. I loved sewing those little grasses in the top one. They are now sold - along with a few others - better make some more!

Thought I'd show you the dolls I'll be taking with me to the Cotswolds Vintage Fair on Saturday, so I got my girls together for a bit of a photocall. There are some new ladies in there - hope you like them.

Another little box, once discarded. Now a little keepsake to be opened on a winter's day and be reminded of the promise of spring.

I'm working on some more of my brown paper dolls at the moment, hopefully I'll have some to show you soon.
