Hibernation

Hello and a belated Happy New Year! I'm sorry for my lack of posts of late. I have just been hibernating for a while and negotiating life's ups and downs. I've still been stitching though, slowly stitching away at this piece which I've been working on for quite a while in between completing other things.

I've now finished this piece, but I've been struggling to photograph it to a good enough standard to show you here... I'll keep trying and hope to show you soon.

In the mean time here's a little 'textile token' I just made in preparation for my workshop at Hope and Elvis in March. If you are coming along, I look forward to seeing you there....

Dear Christine, you can't believe how happy I am to be able to come in March. Even more now that I see an example of what you prepare for us. Oh joy!
Hopefully, we will see that beautiful winter work you have done in its flesh.

Lovely to get a post again I am always in awe of your stitched writing as it is so neat. The closeup this time looks as if you have couched the threads down. The swirls and beads are a lovely edging

I love your worktable - looking out of the window onto the garden and with just enough 'clutter' to inspire....I guess it's like making a nest, gathering things around you into an environment where you feel content to sit and be creative. Happy stitching xxx

Although I do not sew or rarely I like very much your work, your universe. It is very inspiring.

Hello,

I like the romantic yet simple look of those "textile trinkets"!

And the photograph of your worktable is so beautiful - it looks
like a very cosy place! :))

Kind regards from Riverside,
Nina
